Randy has been a licensed Realtor® since 1998. Randy has sold over 1000 properties (listings or buyer representations)as of 2016 in his Real Estate Career, an experience that he will put to work for you! Formally with Jimmie Ann Vaughan Company in Bastrop, Texas, Randy moved to Stanberry Realtors® in the spring of 2010 and was the top listing agent in the company for his first 5 years. Randy works in partnership with his son, Realtor® Joshua McDonald. Randy's Education consist of an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and college credits in Labor-Management in addition to Real Estate Designations GRI (graduate of real estate institute) and ABR (accredited buyer representation). 

Randy's worked as a “Fannie Mae” direct agent for 18 years and specializes in Fannie Mae and Bank REO’s as well as Short Sales. He also specializes in Residential, Farm and Ranch and Commercial transactions.

Having been in and around Bastrop County for over 30 years he is well known and has been an active volunteer for many organizations including Bastrop Youth Soccer, Tahitian Village Property Owners Association (served on the POA as well as currently the president of the ACC), Cedar Creek Rotary Club (a past president) and liaison for the Cedar Creek High School Interact Club, Bastrop County Board of Realtors (several terms as a board member), also Randy was well known as a United States Soccer Referee. Married with children (now all grown) and the proud grandparent of 6. Jobs in law enforcement, mental health and mental hygiene, manufacturing management, UPS driver, and Grocery Management have taught him, people, skills and management techniques, and customer relations.
